Solvent-free Oil Painting – the new generation of oil paint.

Cobra, the water mixable oil colours of Royal Talens. A type of paint that always produces a wonderful and long-lasting result without the use of solvents such as white spirit and turpentine. And that is better for your health as well as your immediate surroundings. What’s more, the equipment is easy to clean with soap and water.

Cobra Artist is an Artists’ quality water mixable oil paint with an exceptionally high degree of pigmentation. Only the very best pigments and oils are used. During the grinding process the paint is ground on the triple roller mill until it reaches the fineness of an Artists’ quality.

The range: The range consists of 70 transparent, semi-transparent, semi-opaque and opaque colours. They all have the highest degree of lightfastness (+++) and under museum conditions remain unchanged for at least 100 years. The range includes 32 mono-pigmented colours. There are also ten colours based on highly exclusive pigments – such as the cadmiums, cobalts and chromium oxides – as well as an exceptionally transparent oxide red or yellow.
